The first informal meeting of the society was held in the Board Inn on Durham road, Sunderland, on Thursday 7th February 1996. This was followed by a Formation Meeting at the Nissan Sports and Social Club, Washington. In October of the same year the meeting place was changed to the Prospect Public House in Sunderland.

The club has a reputation for being friendly, welcoming and helpful and is run in a relaxed, informal way by an extremely hard-working committee.

The Farmers Club, Ryhope

Our Meetings are currently held on the First Thursday of each month at 8pm in the Farmers Club, Ryhope Village, Sunderland about 3 miles south of the city centre. All are welcome to attend. The car park is at the front of the club.

The members of our club do a lot of work for local charities. This year we hope raise money for our armed forces who are in war torn countries. We are having a raffle with 6 main prizes consisting of electronic items and playthings. If you would like to help in any way or donate any prizes. Do not hesitate to contact us.

Each year we organise several Shows in the North East of England. Most shows have stands for Specialist and Same-marque cars and one or two have Trade Stands. Refreshments are usually available at all venues.
For details of forthcoming events see the Events page.
